House Rules

+Smoking and vaping ONLY in designated OUTSIDE areas. +Do not disconnect/block cameras or wifi; cameras only face the outside/perimeter of the property. +No Parties or Events. +Swim diapers for young kids. +NO GLASS in pool. +Supervise minors at all times. +ONLY people on the guest list are allowed on the property. +Close all umbrellas, windows and doors when not on property. +Security deposit required. +Photo ID at check in may be required. +Toilet paper only in toilets, no feminine products or other foreign materials due to septic system. +No hair dyeing. +No outside fires or fireworks. +Furniture and appliances may not be moved.

*on site Check-in with host possible with a few days notice. *Pool Details: Saltwater pool opens on May 1 (heating begins May 15). Exclusive use, 24 hours a day. Use is at your own risk. Children must be supervised by an adult. No glass in pool. *Pets: Up to two dogs are ok. Please message with breed and weight. *Some day guests OK with host prior approval *Security/Wildlife: For safety there are cameras on gate, driveway, front walk, doorbell, but NO interior cameras. Small dogs should be kept inside at night to protect from coyotes, owls, etc. Turkeys in mating season (April-June) can be aggressive. *Deposit: There is a $750 refundable damage deposit which is charged two days prior to check-in and refunded within two days after check-out if there is no damage.

Tucked on a forested hill at the end of a private road in Crotonville, Willoway is within easy reach of New York City. Croton-Harmon station is just a five-minute drive from Willoway, and the city is less than an hour’s journey by train. Wake up in the morning and see how many Willoway bird songs you can recognize as you have tea or coffee on the wood or stone decks. A day out? -Take a stroll on the Old Croton Aqueduct to Croton Gorge/Dam. -Visit Kyukuit and explore the Rockefeller Estate. -Kayak in the Hudson. -Take the kids to the mid hudson discovery museum and then do the Walkway over the Hudson. -Hike, goto the zoo, in Bear Mountain and have dinner in Cold Spring -Halloween: visit Sleepy Hollow and The Blaze in the evening.

This is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Period. It feels like escaping to a close friend’s suburban home as a child. We dined family style on the sunlit patio, splashed at each other in the saltwater pool, and fell asleep next to a crackling fire. We stepped into a portal to a simpler time. Everything is pristine, gorgeous, and comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and so should you. Again, the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at.

This is absolutely the best and most beautiful Airbnb I've ever stayed in. My friends and I immediately felt right at home; we weren't there for more than five minutes before we starting planning our next stay. The house is so welcoming and personalized. Josh and Jackie have collected so many beautiful pieces of art. We also loved all the history around the house. We were geeking out watching the birds come to the bird feeder by the kitchen door throughout the day. This property is more beautiful in person if you can imagine. It is well loved and you'll never want to leave. We loved watching the turkeys in the backyard, watching the sunset from the patio, and hanging out by the pool. They also have an incredible game selection and fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking, baking, and drinking needs. Josh and Jackie are the most thoughtful hosts I've ever had, they truly thought of everything, you will want for nothing here. We cannot wait to go back!!

Josh and Jackie's place is a piece of heaven. Quietly set back from the main town, peaceful surroundings with lots to do around it. The house has been thoughtfully preserved and updated through the years. Josh and Jackie are very responsive and helpful. Nature surrounds you throughout the house, with stunning birds all around. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a escape from the city!

The place is incredible, and I don't know if photos can ever do it justice. The living room opens up to a view of the lake through big windows, and the outdoor area is just beautiful. There's a separate dining area, a kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook up a great meal, and a natural backyard. Details like fresh flowers, binoculars, slippers by the door, firewood ready to go, umbrellas, towels and seat cushions for the pool... This is a home that has been tended to by people who brought genuine love and warmth to it. What stayed with us most were the stories scattered around the house - the relics, the high quality furniture, the history Josh and Jackie were incredible and went absolutely out of their way to make sure we were settled in. We hope to come back and highly recommend Willoway!
